During your stay indulge in our lakeside barrel sauna, take a dip in the lake from our private jetty, rinse off and lounge on the sun deck. Or simply enjoy a glass of wine watching the sun set over the lake from your accommodation's deck.
Please explore our organic vegetable gardens and orchards. Collect your salad and maybe a couple of pieces of seasonal fruit.
If you're lucky enough to be staying in the Lakeside Villa or Lakeview Barn indulge in your very own outdoor bath.
Lakefront barrel sauna
Turn your stay into a retreat by indulging in a daily sauna. With a gun barrel views of the wilderness sanctuary that is Wallis Lake, our sauna is stunning. Complete the experience with a plunge off our private jetty, rinse under the hot & cold outdoor shower and catch some rays on the attached sundeck.
Organic Veggie Gardens
Guests are welcome to pick their evening salad from the vegetable garden and fruit from our orchards, you might even find an egg or two in the chicken house. Permaculture principles have been used in the design of the property. The guiding principle being that all elements of the design work in synergy and energy inputs of water and nutrients are retained within the whole system. Of course no toxic pesticides are used on the property and we generate all of our own compost. All water is captured and retained onsite and solar panels are used to generate our power.
The Wellness Lodge .
Our Wellness Lodge is a sublime lakefront open-air gymnasium with sweeping water views across Wallis Lake, creating an inspiring space to move, stretch and recharge. This beautifully positioned wellness facility features a curated range of functional equipment including an rower machine and assault bike, a wall-mounted pulley system, Swedish ladder with attachments, plus an array of dumbbells, kettlebells and yoga mats for strength, cardio and mobility sessions.

Connected directly to the lakefront barrel sauna and sundeck, the Wellness Lodge offers the ultimate retreat experience — perfect for a morning workout, a restorative stretch session, or an energising pre-sauna routine before swimming from the jetty. Whether you’re enjoying a private yoga class, hosting a wellness workshop, or simply making the most of the peaceful setting during your stay, this is a truly special space to reconnect with body and mind.
The Pavilion
Our Pavilion is a beautiful all-weather, covered 10.5m x 4.5m facility featuring elegant waterproof hyperbolic canopies and a stunning lakefront setting.
Designed for functions, celebrations and group dining experiences, the Pavilion is the perfect gathering place for guests who have booked the entire property exclusively and wish to enjoy memorable meals and special occasions together.
Whether hosting a long-table dinner, birthday celebration, wedding reception or private function, the Pavilion provides a relaxed yet sophisticated setting surrounded by the natural beauty of Wallis Lake.
This versatile space is also ideal for workshops, corporate retreats, conferences and group events, offering a unique open-air environment that brings people together in an inspiring waterfront location.
Glamping Luxury Tents.
Our stunning glamping tents are available for guests booking events, weddings, retreats etc. They include comfortable king or x2 single beds, power, lighting, a bar fridge, fan, bed side tables, rug, clothes ladder, picnic table, chairs, bbq, etc.
Hamptons Marquee .
Our elegant Hamptons Marquee is a stunning lakefront event facility, beautifully positioned on the expansive event lawn directly in front of the main Moorings Lakehouse, with breathtaking views across Wallis Lake.
Featuring a timeless Hamptons-inspired design, the marquee is available in three sizes to accommodate gatherings of different scales: 9.5m x 9.5m, 15.5m x 9.5m and 22m x 9.5m. Its sophisticated styling and spectacular waterfront setting create a memorable atmosphere for weddings, celebrations and exclusive events.
Seamlessly connected to the Rainbow Function Room on the ground floor of the Lakehouse, the marquee provides a versatile indoor and outdoor entertaining experience, allowing guests to move effortlessly between the two spaces.
The Hamptons Marquee is the centrepiece of our wedding celebrations and hosts our annual Shuck & Shell Seafood Festival, as well as corporate functions, private celebrations and larger group dining experiences.
